Les Claypool
& Yard Dogs Road Show - LIVE at Britt Best known for his work
with the band Primus, Les Claypool's mastery of the electric bass has earned him respect
as one of rock's premier bass talents. Through various projects he has played the roles of
alt-rock personality (Primus), bandleader (Colonel Claypool's Fearless Flying Frog
Brigade) and capable sideman. Claypool mixes finger-tapping, flamenco-like strumming and a
slap technique to create his unique, funky playing style. He is equally famous for his
wacky sense of humor and eccentric personality. "When you say I'm getting weirder, I
get it," says Claypool. "But to me, it feels like I'm becoming more and more
honest." His latest album is Of Fungi And Foe.

the nature of this show, dancing is expected and may disrupt blanket seating in front of
the stage once the show begins.
Yard Dogs Road Show
The Yard Dogs Road Show is a hobo cabareta living patchwork of vaudeville and
rock n' roll. Formed eight years ago, the creators of Yard Dogs Road Show took
inspiration from the saloon vaudeville that toured the Wild West in the late 1800s, and
slammed that idea into the underworld of modern American road culture. The show includes
sword swallowers, dancing dolls, fire eaters and sunset hobo poetry, all animated by the
live sounds of the Yard Dogs cartoon heavy band. The enchanting entertainment is pure
visual and sonic voodoo.
NOTE: This performance contains content that may not be suitable for children.
