Gold Dust Days will be held today in Gold Hill with a fun run
at 8:30 a.m., and a parade at 10 a.m. Vehicular traffic will be closed between Estremado
Street and the Rogue River. Those two blocks will be utilized for exhibits, booths,
festival events and foot traffic. The Gold Dust Day Parade, "Returning to
Yesteryear" begins at 10 a.m. from Patrick School and will end near the downtown
park. Ribbons for the parade will be awarded at 1 p.m. at the Gold Hill Historical Society
Museum, Estremado and I Ave. Wagon rides begin and terminate at the Gold Hill Museum.

McKee Bridge
Days
The 90th birthday
celebration and country market for the McKee Covered Bridge will be held from 10:00am to
4:00pm, Saturday June 9th at McKee Bridge Park on Upper Applegate Road, located eight
miles south of Ruch.
There will be horseshoe and cribbage games, cart rides, music and a raffle.
Homemade and second-hand items will be available, along with a barbecue offered by the
Applegate Lions. Baked goods, ice cream and root beer floats also will be
available.

The Cascade Civil War Society, the CCWS, is dedicated to the
preservation of the history of the American Civil War and its impact on frontier
expansion. Battle re-enactments and conduct living history programs depicting
military and civilian life of the period.
Battles at 11:00am and 3:00pm - Infantry, Calvary, Artillery and
Civilian Encampment along with period music.

Rooster Crow
Since 1953,
Rogue River has held the National Rooster Crow Championship the last Saturday in June. The
community event has grown into a 3 day event kicking off Friday night with a free concert
at the woodville museum gazebo featuring "Leadfoot". Saturday morning is the
well Known "Rooster Crow Parade". This years theme is "The Boys are back in
Town!"
After the parade is activities, vendor booths, arts and crafts, food booths and of course
the Rooster Crow contest and Human Crow Contest.
Sunday continues with the Rooster Crow Car Show for all of our antique car enthusiasts and
car clubs are welcome! We have lots of winners, Door prizes and fun for the whole family.
