Rogue River Rooster Crow rooster.jpg (29872 bytes)

Since 1953, Rogue River has held the National Rooster Crow Championship the last Saturday in June. The community event has grown into a 3 day event kicking off Friday night with a free concert at the woodville museum gazebo featuring "Leadfoot". Saturday morning is the well Known "Rooster Crow Parade". This years theme is "The Boys are back in Town!"
After the parade is activities, vendor booths, arts and crafts, food booths and of course the Rooster Crow contest and Human Crow Contest.

Sunday continues with the Rooster Crow Car Show for all of our antique car enthusiasts and car clubs are welcome! We have lots of winners, Door prizes and fun for the whole family.

Red, White & Boom!           

Red, White & Boom is Medford's old fashioned 4th of July celebration, topped off by the most spectacular fireworks show the valley has ever experienced. The event consists of music, entertainment, food, and games for kids and families and, of course, fireworks!

Rogue Valley Balloon Rally

These graceful giants are scheduled to illuminate the Rogue Valley sky’s again July 6th, 7th and 8th at the Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport.  Don’t miss the spectacular “Night Glo” this breathtaking show will be performed Saturday at sunset.  Sunday Morning brings the amazing “Mass Ascension” beginning at dawn.

Jackson County Fair

The third week in July is host to the County Fair. If you're lucky enough to be visiting Medford during Fair time, you'll have a grand time eating cotton candy, seeing the animals, riding the rides, and enjoying hundreds of other activities with top name entertainment every evening for six exciting days

The headline entertainment lineup for the Lithia Motors Amphitheater at the Jackson County Fair is as follows:

Build a boat using cardboard and duct tape and enter it in the second annual Cardboard Boat Race held at the Hawthorne Park Pool.  Paddles and life jackets will be supplied.  Prizes will be awarded to first-place through third-place winners. Wednesday Rides - John's Peak, Jacksonville
