Crater Lake is a natural wonder that no visitor to southern Oregon should miss! Located eighty miles northeast of Medford, it is the deepest lake in the United States, and Oregon’s only National Park. It features a lodge and exhibit building at Rim village, Rim Drive Bus tours, hiking, picnic areas and naturalist programs.

HISTORIC WATER-POWERED GRIST MILL & COUNTRY STORE - You can mix fun with education by visiting this historic mill. Nestled on the banks of Little Butte Creek, the last original operating water-powered grist mill in the West is fun for all ages. Visitors may watch the miller at work and find stone ground flours, meals, cereals, mixes and a variety of other full-of-nutrition food-stuffs and snacks in the mill Country Store. The mill is listed on the National Historic Register and is open 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Saturday. Museum, covered bridge and parks nearby all with no admission charge!

Jacksonville was the first place gold was discovered in Oregon, and is one of only eight cities in the United States named as a National Historic Landmark. There are 8 historic homes and buildings in Jacksonville. Old-time trolley tours, shops, restaurants, the Britt Gardens and Music Festival and the Jacksonville Museum of Southern Oregon History. A trip to Jacksonville could also include a wine-tasting visit to Valley View Vineyards in the beautiful Applegate Valley. (About 15 minutes outside of Jacksonville.)

The House of Mystery itself was originally an assay. Going back to the days of the Indians, known to them as “The Forbidden Ground.” A spherical field of force, half above ground and half below where the House of Mystery sits and unusual conditions exist.

Frequently referred to as "The Marbled Halls of Oregon," a living botanical paradise with coastal influence awaits you. With miles of hiking trails and 22-room historic chateau nestled amongst the waterfall and canyons with lofty trees, you will be enchanted with one of nature's works of art. From Medford, take I-5 north to exit 58. Head west on Hwy 199. Take Hwy 46 north for the final 20-mile trip.

ScienceWorks is a world-class interactive science museum featuring state-of-the-art exhibits, live performances and hands-on exploration for all ages. Located at 1500 East Main near Walker Ave in Ashland, just minutes from downtown. Plenty of free parking is available. The Southern Oregon Dragway is the newest state-of-the-art track in the country. Open from April through September at the Jackson County Sports Park. This one-third mile banked, clay, oval track features: dirt modifieds, pro-stocks, mini-stocks, and 360 sprints. Located in White City on Kershaw Road off of Hwy 140.
