Nestled on the banks of Little Butte Creek, the last original operating water-powered grist mill in the West is fun for all ages. Visitors may watch the miller at work and find stone ground flours, meals, cereals, mixes and a variety of other full-of-nutrition food-stuffs and snacks in the mill Country Store. The mill is listed on the National Historic Register and is open 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Saturday. Museum, covered bridge and parks nearby all with no admission charge! |

A trip to Jacksonville could also include a wine-tasting visit to Valley View Vineyards in the beautiful Applegate Valley. (About 15 minutes outside of Jacksonville.) |

Open from April through September at the Jackson County Sports Park. This one-third mile banked, clay, oval track features: dirt modifieds, pro-stocks, mini-stocks, and 360 sprints.
