Day 1 - Visit southern Oregon with

Day 2 - On the way to Crater Lake stop at Butte Creek Mill, a wonderful
water powered flour grist mill the last original operational water-powered grist mill in
the US. Then onto Mill
Creek Falls, plunging 174 feet into the Rogue River, the Natural Bridge
and see the Rogue River swallowed by an underground maze of lava tubes then re-emerge in
two gushing torrents downstream or Rogue Gorge Trail
and stop at the viewpoint parking lot located just off Hwy. 62 less than ¼ mile north of
the Union Creek Resort across from Beckies Cafe and see the Rogue River thundering
through deep, narrow chasms under a canopy of conifers, all within easy walking distance
to the parking lot. Continue north to Crater Lake to view the deepest,
bluest lake in North America.
Rafting -
the Rogue River can be experienced on a self-guided rafting trip or outfitters are ready
to provide a guided trip down the river from a mellow scenic river float trip to
pulse-pounding whitewater workout and glimpse and eagle or otter. Whatever the choice it will be a memorable river
experience.
