The Tempest -
Oregon Shekespeare Festivall Elemental
spirits lurk and the air shimmers with enchantment on Prospero's island. His royal title
usurped, Prospero and his young daughter Miranda, washed up on its shores 12 years
earlier. Since then, the exciled duke has brooded on the injustice done to him as he has
mastered the art of magic. At last, Fate places the architects of his downfall within his
grasp. In the charmed crucible of Shakespeare's farewell masterpiece, Prospero conjures a
storm that will transform ancient enemies, innocent lovers and the great magician himself.

Billy Bob
Thornton "I
like the stories that BillyBob tells in his songs. The twists, dysfunction and
reality ring true. I also like that he doesn't let himself off the hook when he
isn't the good guy. The lush cooder/lanois-esque backdrop is a great, evocative
setting for Billy's voice. Hobo made me lean in and listen." Henry

"Shakespeare
in Hollywood" - by Ken Ludwig The latest hit from
the author of Broadway's Lend Me a Tenor and Moon over Buffalo. Winner of the 2004 Helen
Hayes Award for Best New Play. Lights, Camera, Shakespeare! It's 1934 and Shakespeare's
most famous fairies, Oberon and Puck, have magically materialized on the Warner Bros.
Hollywood set of Max Reinhardt's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Smitten by the glitz and
glamour of show biz, the two are ushered onto the silver screen to play (who else?)
themselves. Blonde bombshells, movie moguls and arrogant ?asses? are tossed into loopy
love triangles with raucous results thanks to Puck and his feisty flower. 'Shakespeare in
Hollywood will charm your socks off.' ? The Wall Street Journal. 'A fast, funny,
entertaining night!' ? NBC-4.
