Opening Night
Champagne Picnic - Britt's 45th Classical Festival Celebrate opening night of Britt's 45th Classical Festival with a gourmet
champagne picnic. Catered by Jacksonville Inn, this dinner is the perfect beginning to a
festive evening that continues with the concert featuring violinist Nicola Benedetti. The
menu includes salmon nichoise, fresh summer fruit, Mediterranean pasta salad and Champagne
or sparkling cider.

Nicola Benedetti & the Britt Orchestar
The Britt Festival Orchestra will be joined by violinist Nicola Benedetti performing
Mendelssohn. Born in Scotland of Italian heritage, this beautiful 19-year-old has
captivated audiences and critics alike. BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2004, her debut
album released by Deutsche Grammophon in 2005, and a featured performer on Ravinia’s
Rising Stars series in 2006, Nicola is already an established international artist.

KTVL - Kid's
Day The KTVL Kid's Day is an event for kids and families. It
is held at Hawthorne Park in downtown Medford and its purpose it to encourage parents to
spend time with their children. Business and service organizations team up with NEWS
10 to provide a fun, free day of activities for all to enjoy! Attendance ranges
anywhere from five to ten thousand (depending on the weather)

Triathlon - Hellgate Challenge RUN! BIKE! KAYAK! There is

Gypsy Soul - 5th
Annual "Concert under the Stars" Gypsy Soul returns to
the Rogue Valley to produce their 5th Annual "Concert Under the Stars", August
17th. This year they will present their spectacular event at Eden Valley Orchards -
EdenVale Winery in Medford. This concert has sold out every year and the August 2007
show promises to be the same.
This year's event will include a pre-concert special wine tasting with
EdenVale Winery's renown winemaker and an artist meet and greet.
Tickets: $20 for Concert-only patrons. $30 for Concert and VIP wine tasting
and artist meet-and-greet. Don't miss this special opportunity t experience
Gypsy Soul's breathtaking performance in the gorgeous setting of Eden Valley Orchards and
