Basic Foundational Calligraphy

On Tuesday evenings this winter, veteran calligrapher JoAnn Evans explores basic foundational calligraphy.  The Foundational Hand is basic training to gain understanding of lowercase letters.  This hand is very legible and useful.  Uppercase letters are the traditional Roman capitals, which are elegant and classic.  Letterforms will be emphasized, along with spacing and design.  Students will create small projects, and leave with a collection of inspirational examples and finished pieces.  Great for the beginner or experienced calligrapher.
