Forever
Tango Presented by Craterian Performances, sponsored by Rogue
Valley Manor
The most dramatic and romantic of all dance forms, tango evokes an elegant, glamorous,
dangerously sensual world in which everything can be said with the flit of a leg, the tug
of a hand, the tap of a foot, or the arch of an eyebrow. Forever Tango is the phenomenally
popular, internationally renowned dance spectacle that broke box office records in San
Francisco and enjoyed the longest run of any tango show in Broadway history. Featuring an
all-Argentine cast of dancers and musicians, Forever Tango traces tango's colorful history
through music, dance, and dramatic vignettes. As creator/director Luis Bravo puts it,
"the tango represents more than just a dance - it is also a music, a culture, a way
of life."

Velveteen Rabbit
Presented by Craterian Performances
Sponsored by SOPTV; Anne H. Dennehy, DDS; Avista
Sheer enchantment! The acclaimed Enchantment Theatre Company consistently lives up to its
name with innovative, entrancing musical adaptations of classic fairy tales and children's
books. This time they work their magic on Margery Williams' beloved classic, The Velveteen
Rabbit. A plush toy rabbit yearns to be chosen as a special playmate by the boy he belongs
to, having been told by his friend the Horse that "when a child loves you for a long,
long time... then you become Real." Combining original music, live singers,
life-sized puppets, masks, mime, and special effects, Enchantment Theatre brings this
enduring tale of love and devotion to wondrous life. Recommended for ages 5 and up.

Capitol
Steps
Presented by Craterian Performances
Sponsored by Mail Tribune; LTM Incorporated
These popular singing satirists return for another evening of
side-splitting political comedy! Founded by former congressional staffers, the cheerfully
bipartisan Capitol Steps offer an insider's view of the follies and peccadilloes of the
political circus in Washington. No subject is off-limits and no public figure immune to
their trenchant jesting. Merrily mining comic matter from domestic issues, foreign policy
and the current presidential campaign, the Steps serve up such inspired musical parodies
as "When IRS Guys Are Smilin," "How Do You Solve a Problem Like
Korea?" and "76 Unknowns." As the first President Bush put it, "The
Capitol Steps are what Washington would be like if everyone were funny and could
sing."

Altar Boyz
Its a play! Its
a concert! Its Nunsense meets N-Sync! Its Altar Boyz, the
Catholic boy band on a mission: Matthew, Mark, Luke, Juan & Abraham. They aim to save
souls with hot pop songs, glorious voices, and killer choreography. Matthew is the
dreamboat leader of the group. Mark is the sensitive one. Luke is the streetwise B-boy who
has a little trouble staying on the Path. Juan is the Latin hottie in search of his
long-lost parents. And Abraham is Jewish. (Whats he doing in a Christian boy band?
God only knows.) They are fierce in their spiritual mission and, though there is much
humor resulting from their naïve fervor, they are utterly sincere and their message is
all about the power of love, acceptance
and really great hair. Songs: God Put the
Rhythm in Me; Girl, You Make Me Want To Wait; La Vida Eterna; Everybody Fits in Gods
Great Family.

Do I Hear a Waltz
Leona, an unmarried American secretary of a certain age, is spending her
vacation in Venice. Under the spell of that enchanted city, she falls in love.
The gentleman, an attractive, middle-aged shopkeeper, is married. As she
realized this relationship has nowhere to go, can Leona take the moment and give in to
romance? Might it not be better than never having loved at all? This timeless
story - the basis of the 1955 David Lean move Summertime starring Katharine
Hepburn and Rossano Brazzi - remains a bittersett testament to the complexities of the
heart.
