Every 3 rd Friday, of every month, galleries, shops and restaurants open their doors for extended times in the evening to allow people to view art and converse with local artists and shop keepers. The art walk hosts jugglers, flame eaters, performing artists and art in many forms.
Many of the artists who exhibit their art at Medford’s 3rd Friday, never want to leave because they share the same artistic sensibilities that brought them together, have established a loyal clientele and made many friends during the art walk. Downtown Medford has over 25 businesses affliliated with the 3rd Friday Art Walk. These businesses showcase Southern Oregon artists to exhibit their art throughout the year, every 3rd Friday.
Options of exhibiting for one month or more, depending on the business venue and artists retain 100 % of their art sales. Artists must hang and maintain their own artwork, insurance is not available to participate and artists must negotiate their own sales.
