Crater Lake is a natural wonder that no
visitor to southern Oregon should miss! Located eighty miles northeast of Medford, it is
the deepest lake in the United States, and Oregon’s only National Park. It features a
lodge and exhibit building at Rim village, Rim Drive Bus tours, hiking, picnic areas and
naturalist programs. |

Jacksonville was the first place gold was
discovered in Oregon, and is one of only eight cities in the United States named as a
National Historic Landmark. There are 8 historic homes and buildings in Jacksonville.
Old-time trolley tours, shops, restaurants, the Britt Gardens and Music Festival and the
Jacksonville Museum of Southern Oregon History. A trip to Jacksonville could also include
a wine-tasting visit to Valley View Vineyards in the beautiful Applegate Valley. (About 15

The Southern Oregon Dragway
is the newest state-of-the-art track in the country. Open from April through September at
the Jackson County Sports Park. This one-third mile banked, clay, oval track features:
dirt modifieds, pro-stocks, mini-stocks, and 360 sprints. Located in White City on Kershaw
Road off of Hwy 140.
